Amy Nawrocki
Amy Nawrocki is the poetry editor for The Wayfarer and the author of five poetry collections, including Four Blue Eggs and Reconnaissance, released by Homebound Publications. A new collection Mouthbrooders is forthcoming in 2019. Her work has appeared in many print and online publications including The Connecticut River Review, Fox Adoption Magazine, Sixfold, The Loft Poetry Anthology, Reckless Writing Anthology, and Wildness: Voices of the Sacred Landscape. She is the coauthor, with her husband Eric D. Lehman, of A History of Connecticut Food, A History of Connecticut Wine, and Literary Connecticut. She is the recipient of numerous awards including honors from The Hamden Arts Commission, The Connecticut Poetry Society, New Millennium Writings and Phi Kappa Phi.
Her latest work, The Comets Tail: A Memoir of No Memory, published as part of the Little Bound Books Essay Series, has been awarded a Gold Medal for the Living Now Mind-Body-Spirit Awards. She is an associate professor of English at the University of Bridgeport and lives Hamden CT with her husband and their two cats.
