Anthony Bukoski
Anthony Bukoski is an author and emeritus professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He has published five short-story collections, including Time Between Trains, Polonaise, and Children of Strangers, and a collection of his selected stories entitled Head of the Lakes will be published in 2018.
Bukoski's books have been reviewed in Publishers Weekly, Booklist (including a starred review of Time Between Trains), Kirkus Reviews, the Dallas Morning News, and elsewhere. The New York Times Book Review has called him a sure-handed, lyrical writer. A Booklist Editors Choice, Time Between Trains was selected as one of the best books of 2003 for public libraries.
