Daniela Olszewska
Daniela was born in Wroclaw, Poland in 1984. She grew up in Chicago and its adjacent suburbs. Daniela received a BA in Poetry Writing from Columbia College Chicago and an MFA in Poetry from University of Alabama. She spent several years teaching with the Alabama Prison Arts and Education Project and the Prison Neighborhood Arts Project. Daniela has also served as Poetry Editor and Assistant Nonfiction Editor of Black Warrior Review, Assistant Poetry Editor of Another Chicago Magazine, and as a staff member of Switchback Books. She composes one-off poems for the Chicago chapter of Poems While You Wait.
