He has recently retired after teaching art at Superior Elementary School for 20 years for Boulder Valley Schools. Field trips such as 4th grade to The Denver Art Museum, and 5th to Denver Botanic Gardens were highlights. Hands on student centered Standards based art education- "serious fun!" While traveling to Japan, Nepal and Spain and various places around the United States, sketching has become not only a way to capture the energy of a moment with exuberant line but is also the basis for further study in watercolors, acrylics and linoleum blocks. He lives and works in Boulder, Colorado.
